Individual Members: comprise of previous SSLG Associate members (who are not commercial organisations) and individual members that joined from NSI and previous Observers of SSLG who wish to apply to be treated as an individual members. This class is for individuals not attached to a particular company or institution that share the aims and objectives of SSLG and wish to be a member in their own right.
Observer: comprise from such organisations who cannot due to their nature or relationship with SSLG become Corporate members, such as Government Departments
Membership:
As a result of the absorption of the NSI membership in 2008 the SSLG Board of Directors decided that this presented an opportunity to rationalise the membership structure of SSLG and create two classes of SSLG members and a category of persons or organisations with Observer status who shall not be members. The changes took place following an SSLG AGM on 3 September 2009.
Corporate Members: comprise of previous Full Members of the Company and certain previous Associate members of SSLG which are commercial organisations. This class of membership is for commercial companies and institutions that share the aims and objectives of SSLG and work with us.
